Do Not Call List
Be a part of the National Do Not Call List
and show them how you feel !! Its fast and easy. It
only takes a couple minutes of your time and all you
need is an email address. Stop the hassle and
inconvenience of telemarketers making unwanted,
unsolicited phone calls. Get registered on the list,
which is also commonly refered to as the Do
Not Call Registry or the Do
Not Call List, then come back anytime
to check your registration or file a complaint for
non compliance of the Do Not Call Law.
The Do Not Call List
is very simple to join. All you have to do is go to
www.donotcall.gov, and supply your email address and
phone number(s). You can enter up to three phone
numbers at a time. You will then find an message at
the email address you supplied asking you to confirm
that you want to join the registry. Click the link to
verify your approval and you're done. The whole
process only takes about two minutes. Its a very
simple way to reduce unwanted calls from rude
telemarketers.
Three months after you've registered on the Do Not
Call List, telemarketers are forbidden by law from
calling you. Then, for a small charge, telemarketers
may purchase a list of all the phone numbers on the
do not call list. If a telemarketer makes an
unauthorized call to a number thats on the do not
call list, namely yours, you simply go back to
donotcall.gov website and file a complaint. The FTC
will then use it to prosecute the company that broke
the law by calling your phone number.
