With its deceptive name, the 'Patriot Act' quietly rushed through legislation has gutted several of the rights (amendments) given to us by the US Constitution. Be aware of whats going on. This is akin to someone stealing your home out from under you while the authorities stand by and watch that you don't get in the way. Would that make you mad? Of course it would. Need more info? These days violation of the rights we used to have have progressed. It is now legal for us to be eavesdropped on, and if we choose to protest policy, we could be labeled as a threat, just like the terrorist these laws are supposed to protect us from. Is this what Orwell meant about 'DoubleThink' in the book he wrote about 'Big Brother'?.
Have you ever stopped to think how it is that so many complain about the immigration problem and dangerously insecure borders yet nothing has been done about it? Thats because the powers that be are slowly forming a North American Union, just like the European Union. If people don't use whats left of the power they have been given in The Constitution, we can all kiss the good ol' USA goodbye. A major force behind globalization is our own 'Council on Foreign Relations', and as of Dec 07, every presidential candidate outside of Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich is a member of the council.
