Want to know how abusive the telemarketing industry gets? Just ask the department of Homeland Security. It seems their phone lines have been tied up recently by pesky telemarketers, forcing them to put themselves on the National Do Not Call List.

I wonder if they have to wait the prescribed time in order to stop receiving calls. I wonder what it would be like to be a telemarketer that gets charged by Homeland Security for violating the law. I wonder why they are made to jump thru these kinds of loops. If you call 911 without a good reason you can find yourself in jail, and they are not required to 'join the list'. That would mean 911 yields more power than Homeland Security? Scary.... |
