Do Not Call

Due respect is sometimes not given to those that deserve it. Aggressive telemarketers sometimes take advantage of our elderly population. Our mothers and fathers, grand mothers and grand fathers may not be as sharp as they used to be but that does not make them any less dear to our hearts. The elderly population often becomes targets for smooth talking salesman that only care about the bottom line.

The older generation can often feel out of touch with the fast paced society in which we live. Perhaps feeling isolated or left behind, they can become a lonely group. Many are happy to talk to people willing spend time with them. For this, and other reasons, they can become vulnerable to the sales pitches made by a seemingly friendly voice on the other end of the telephone.
